On Thursday June 10, Hermès will re-open its newly expanded Chicago store in the old Barney's building, on the corner of Oak and Rush Streets. The 6,000 square-foot store will carry the comprehensive Hermès collection, including leather goods, silk scarves, perfumes, ready-to-wear, and more!

Designed by Parisian architectural agency, RDAI, the new bi-level store is decorated with a combination of modern and classic design accouterments, borrowing aspects from the original Hermès store in Paris.

To celebrate the occasion, Hermes has designed a limited edition scarf called the Paddock that will only be available for purchase at the 25 E Oak St. location.

Alternative supergroup, The Dead Weather(Alison Mosshart (The Kills), Jack White (The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age) and Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs)) is playing a Microsoft KIN-sponsored show this Saturday. The best part, it's FREE! Here's the catch, the location is sealed until the day of the show and it's first come first served. All we know is that it will be held in an obscure location. Previous KIN shows were held at a classic car club and a community center. So let the guessing begin!

I haven't been this excited since the Q101 Weezer scavenger hunt in the 90's which ended up being held at a skating rink. If this is anything like that, it's going to be AMAZING!!
