Not being very familiar with New York, I had no idea what I was in for. Local friends forewarned me about the possibilities. Sweaty "bear daddies". An abundance of shirtless-ness. Leather harnesses. All of which proved to be true. Though, the overwhelming aroma of testosterone was quickly shielded by the overwhelming scent of hipster. The place was packed from wall to wall with the city's hippest set drinking more than their share of free Belvidere.
Probably one of the best parties I've been to in a while, mostly because of the eye candy, definitely not because of the higher-than-thou attitudes. But, I guess that's why I don't live in New York...
Fashion Indie hosted a Gossip Girl night at Pop Burger Lounge, which was the perfect opportunity to get my night started last Monday, before the rest of the nights after parties. Drinks were flowing and Dan, Serena and the rest of the crew were projected all over the walls, it was a dream come true.
Angel Lust, a local head band company, sponsored the event. Friends of the designer were seen donning the headbands around the party in perfect Blair fashion. The current line is available for view on their Myspace page, as well as, on the girls below.
