This Friday night while all the good American boys and girls are out to movies, or on precious little dates you could be going bizarre; watching a modern burlesque twist on an old children's story-Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

The show entitled, "Wonderland" is opening this Friday April 3 at the Russell Industrial Center in Detroit as a Theatre Bizarre show. Roxi Dlite, Canada's own burlesque showstopper, plays the lead role of Alice. Guiding the story are the psychedelic and blues sounds of the Wonderland band, also complemented with the suspension artists known as Pend Suspension!

This massive collaboration of Detroit's darkest minds is fitting with the sometimes frightening metaphoric elements of "Alice". This interpretation of Lewis Carroll's story will seek to invoke artistic vision, psychedelic swaying, oohs and ahhs, but most of all it go to show us that we're all MAD.

Wonderland has shows on April 3,4, 10 & 11. Opening night is $10, all other shows $15. Doors open at 9pm, Show starts at 10pm.
